    Worst product ever.....

Okay ladies. If anyone was planning on trying Veet mouse hair removal product on their legs this summer.....save your money! That is the WORST hair removal product I have ever used.

You have to stand in the shower (without running water) to spray it on. Then stand there for at least 8 minutes, making sure not to move so the Veet mouse does not slide off. It smelled terrible, and burned a little. At the end of 8 minutes you have to test an area to see if it's working. The longest it can stay on is 10 minutes.

Finally after 10 minutes I rinsed it off using the sponge that was included. It took off only patches of hair. Crying Even worse it removed big blobs out of my sunless tan that I have been so carefully building up over the last few weeks. I am completely disgusted that I wasted my time and money on that one. It's already in the trash. Now I get to shave the remaining stubble off my legs, and work on repairing my perfectly bronzed skin.

    You meant mousse right? [sm=biggrin.gif]

Thanks for the warning.  I remember trying Nair years ago and had the same result.  Mainly, I remember the horrible smell though - ugh!

I tried that stuff a couple years ago. It burned my skin so bad I couldn't leave it on long enough for it to actually work. I agree that it is the worst product ever.

Well I don't know about you, but I certainly don't have mouse hair on my legs! [sm=rotfl.gif]

Oh, and you mentioned standing in the shower to leave the mouse on your legs, too. That sounds WAY too tickley to me!

I tried that stuff a few  years ago b/c the razor "like" thing you use to remove the hair looked like it really made a difference.  It was worst than NAIR!!!  It didn't do anything to the hair on my legs.  I might as well go for a wax!

That must have been my problem...... I was using mouse instead of mousse. [8D]  This week has been waaaaaaaay too long....[:(]

I dont see how they stay in business when they DO NOT work....

I remember trying Nair - yuck!

I've tried Nair.... didn't work... I did try the Veet Bladeless stuff a year or so ago.. I recall that it didn't smell bad... I think it was actually scented to smell good. and it worked for me... didn't burn and I didn't have to shave for like 2 weeks.

I tried Nair years ago and it never worked.  NADS works pretty well but leaves some little areas.

Now, I use NADs and Nair on 3 small patches of hair on my bf's back.  I have to hold my nose the entire time and use rubber gloves because the Nair smells so bad.  It works best on longer hair I think and our leg hair doesn't get that long maybe.

I am a big fan of a good electric razor :).

I tried Nair too...a long time ago....
I like the Intuition razor...it has a "soap-like" moisturizing bar attached to the razor...have not nicked my legs since I've been using it...over 3 years now...

That stuff burns my legs so I don't use it.  I was thinking (I can't resist teasing here) but if I have mouse hair on my legs does that mean Mickey's bottom is smooth?  I don't wanna try Nads because the word 'nad' has always meant 'gonad' to me so that would be a little strange...[;)]  Jules

I tried the veet with the Razera thiny. It worked *okay* but the hair grew back faster than when I shaved. It also burns slightly and my legs sting a little bit for the rest of the night. Not worth the 6 bucks, I'll tell you that much.

I have a venus razor; worst razor I have had yet (blades are dull after a week, not very close shaving), but it's better than the veet.

Right now I have the Quatro razor. I got it for free during the Fall book buybacks. There was nothing being given out during the Spring buybacks though.

I was wondering about the Veet stuff.  I've been using Nair in more sensitive areas since shaving there gives me a horrible rash.  But the Nair doesn't work so well and I'm not getting waxed there!  So I'll cross Veet off my list of things to try.

When I win the lottery I'm getting permanent hair removal.  I just don't have $2000 to spend on that right now.[8D]
