How much did you pay?

Rose-$0($15 title transfer fee)....I was training and showing her for a project in one of my companion animal classes(where the professor is an amazing breeder).  Her two other co-owners didn't want to keep showing her, so I said "I'll do it!!!"
Colton-$0...I'm not listed as owner on his title, but he lives with me and will stay with me.  I offered to train and show him for the same breeder.  It works out very well.  He only needs 3 more points!!!
Normally, each would have cost about $800.

Maggie was $20 - already up to date on shots and spayed by her previous adopter, adopted from the local city/county shelter at the last minute (she was going kennel crazy).  She's my "do anything dog".

I paid 350 for Liz, shes from a breeder (I wouldnt call her a BYB) who owns a quite a few Collies and works them and does a bit of agility. That was before I knew what a real breeder is.

But theyve been good even offered to split the vet bill when Lizzie came down with kennel cough a few days after I got her. Luckily there was no need for that
    • Gold Top Dog
Well, we didn't actually pay anything for her when they gave her to us.  But, boy did we pay for two years after in vet bills.  She certainly wasn't "free" like they think she was.

I got Buddy from a puppy broker, who got him from a breeder who breeds corgis and boston terriers.  Buddy's litter was an accident between the two breeds.  Unfortunately, I don't know much about the breeder.  I paid $150 for him.

Kayla was $30 from a shelter, due to be euthanized the next day[:(], what a tradgedy that would have been.  The most amazing thing to enter my life.

$125 for each of my two dogs. They came from the Humane Society and they were fixed, heartworm tested, had all shots and even know a few tricks!Best $250 I ever spent!
    • Gold Top Dog
Brown--35 adoption fee from rescue group (although they're fee is now 45 or 50).  This included his shots, and a really, really long, expensive heartworm treatment. Brown had a really bad case of heartworms that required much more medical care than usual.

Grey--35 from shetler because he was already neutered. I then had to bring him to the vet for his shots and heartworm treatment.

Maisie was $300 from a litter that was expected to be alot smaller...I wouldn't say from a BYB..
