Did you see Chris's face?! Talk about complete shock. And the way Ryan said it almost made it sound like, "Oh, yeah, btw, you're out."

No they didn't mention what theme for next week and it doesn't say on the website either. Chris was SO shocked and he even admitted it! Kat was just as shocked that it wasn't her (or at least that's how she made it look). I heard an interview on the radio this morning with Simon's gf and she said that although he is not her fav, she thinks America will vote Taylor to win. She said that through all the interviews she's done, heard and fans she's talked to, he has the biggest fan base IHO. I think Taylor will make it big in the industry no matter if he wins or not. Elliott probably needs to win the most to further his music career. JMO

Of all nights I miss AI it has to be Elvis night. I am so freakin mad. I watched that stupid Bird Flu movie. I LOVE LOVE Elvis. I really am obsessed. Ask my kids any Elvis song and they will sing it for you. Here is one of my many many collections.

Yep - I'm done with it as well.  I still can't believe that Chris was eliminated.  I have no interest in anyone other than Katherine and she'll probably go next.  If I had to watch Taylor twitch one more night, I think I'd shoot myself.

I agree with that. Sure Taylor is spunky, but COME ON??

I am done. I CANNOT BELIEVE that Chris was voted off last night! I am still reeling from it. You should've seen my jaw drop when Ryan annouced it. I was speechless. I have no interest in anyone left. When Mandisa got voted off, the only other person I wanted to watch and felt could be the American Idol was Chris and now that he's gone, I'm done. Katherine does nothing for me at all. I started out enjoying Taylor, but he has worn on my nerves so much that I can't stand to even watch him at all anymore. Elliott is talented, but same as Katherine for me.
 
I'm very disappointed and I know I only have more disappointments to come in my reality world. Survivor. my other favorite show, is most likely not going to award the million to who I feel should get it (Terry) and there is not one single person left on The Apprentice that I think should win that either. []
 
I really hope Chris gets a great record deal and surpasses any amount of success that American Idol could have given him.

I hear Fuel has asked Chris to be their lead singer for their band...
of course being the country girl that I am,,,don't have a clue who Fuel is!!!
 
Next week they will be singing 3 songs. One that they pick, one that the judges pick and one the guy who is giving them the recording contract gets to pick.
 
Sure wish Chris was in for that show!!!  Darn.
 
Cathy,,,I agree with your whole post.   If I see Taylor twitch one more time, I will pull my hair out!!!!   And I also believe your correct in figuring that Chris fans did not think he NEEDED their help and didn't vote.  Katherines and Elliotts fans know they are the underdog,,,and worked hard. Taylor has the vote for the worst voting for him.

Yea I heard about Chris being asked to join Fuel.  I'm so excited about it because I've actually met Fuel since they are from PA where i used to live.  They chose him because of the song of their's he sang at the start of the show.  Some of the Fuel fans are mad about it.  But since Brett, Fuel's lead singer, left the band has just disappeared.  Chris joining is just what the band needs to get them back to where they used to be. 

Chris will be taken care of don't worry about that. He may not had won the show but he has $$$$ in his future that is for sure! But  What I have hear it is between Taylor  and Catharine...  And  I hope it is Taylor But kinda think it might be the C____[8|]

OH good grief.... I posted on the other AI thread about the SHOCK and HORROR of Chris leaving.
 
He did pick up a huge recording contract it was plastered all over the news the other day. Way to go Chris!

Mr. Potatoe Head (Elliot) is still there.. that is the Horror part!

Heaven forbid if it were just the two guys left and Mr.Potatoe Head won...

I really do believe that Taylor is going to win.  Honestly, I don't feel that anyone else has a chance.  I kind of thought that Chris had an outside chance but now that he is gone,,,I guess that takes care of that thought!!!  LOL!  Just from reading some of the message boards and all, is why I say this. Besides, Taylor has VOTE FOR THE WORST calling for his vote.  Taylor is not my pick but there honestly isn't anyone left at all that I particularly like so for me I won't be too sad anymore no matter who goes. 
The thing to watch for though, is that Elliott is the underdog,,,of course so is Katherine, which means their fans are going to be calling and voting their heads off for them.  I believe that is how Chris lost out, I think his fans didn't bother calling much because they figured he was a sure thing.

I have been a Taylor fan since the day he auditioned. I also thought Chris was a shoe in. Oh boy. Here we go now.
