I'm back!

Wow, I haven't been on I-dog is some time! Every few weeks I'll go through, but never post or even sign in. I guess the whole new format ( still is 'new' to me, anyway ) got me over-whelmed! For those who may not remember me, ( or the newer members ) I have Hope, the pit bull mix. Oh, and for those who remember those seizures she was having - She hasn't had any in a few months now. We think the reason she was having them was because of all the grapes and raisins my younger siblings had been feeding her. But they have been told not to feed her anymore, and ever since, no more seizures have occurred. Anyway, I'm glad to be back [

]. I guess coming back may have been stupid, I mean, I finally got over my addiction, and now it is starting again. [sm=lol.gif]

Welcome BACK Trina and HOPE..>> We missed you guys.

Am so glad you figured out what was going on with her. Grapes and raisins are a very, very bad thing for a pupper.[] But glad she is doing very well.
Would you like a link that posts foods that are not great for puppers to teach your siblings Hope????

I know what you mean about being addicted.lol. I check here before I go to work, during my lunchbreak and when I get off in the evenings. It is very habitforming...
I have not had problems with my dogs having seizures after they had grapes, but I only found out recently not to feed them to dogs. I had not known that and my husband loved to share his grapes with the dogs everytime we bought any. The dogs just loved them. As soon as I found out about the danger we quit feeding grapes.
I knew about the chocolate, but had no idea how dangerous the grapes were.
Did not know about the nuts either, but we don't feed them that anyway. We actually never give them any human food anyway...other than the grapes. I think I have heard that onions are also bad.
