Police Officer shot and killed

Yesterday I was very shocked to hear this story. I'm trying to get a hold of family, I believe this man could be my Aunt's SIL Brother. This happened 30 minutes away from us. My sister is in school nearby and could not leave the school.
We don't see this happen around here.
