    WHERE IS LORI????

Willow chows mom....I'll tell you where.  That rotten stinker is at FENWAY PARK without me!!  The game is televised on ESPN.....anyone want to join me in hunting for Lori in the crowd shots??  And at the very least, send her some "warm, dry" vibes since its damp and chilly at Fenway!

Not a very nice night to be in Fenway that's for sure! Its cold and wet!

Glenda, did you hear that when the yankees had thier first game at fenway this week fans were throwing money into the outfield at Johnny Damon? And yelling "Sellout". They had to have the bullpen people come out and pick it up because there was so much of it!!!

That game was televised too.  OK, I admit it, I peeked...and he's put on WEIGHT.....the butt is no where near as charming now...especially in those ugly pinstripes!  Yeah, mostly it was green paper, but there were a few REAL bills tossed in.  When he came to the plate the fans booed the UNIFORM more than anything else, but once he doffed his cap to the dug out and the fans, the cheers increased.  Even if he is a traitor, he's got some class.

I feel bad for Lori that her big nite at Fenway the weather is so bad, but dang it, it's STILL Fenway!!

The one and only time I've been to a majors game was at Fenway, and the Sox lost to the Blue Jays. It was one of those reeeeeaaaaaalllllly booooooooooooooooorrrrrring games where you were tempted to drink beer and eat a LOT of junk just to entertain yourself. I sure hope Lori has a better time than I did!!

Jean, I grew up in MI.  I was a diehard Tigers fan.  DH grew up in Boston, used to cut class and take the T to ball games......so we agreed to disagree on our teams.  Then the rotten stinker took me to Fenway Park.  It's old, it's dumpy (or was then) and it has that smell of decades old cooking oil, but there is something about Fenway Park.  It has a charm that just sucks you in.

I've been watching the game for ALMOST 4 hours...bottom of the 9th now....and it has been one HECK of a game.

LOL Glenda! I was a Tigers fan too (I was born in Ann Arbor) but back then the Beatles were more important than any old baseball team. [:D]

I feel glad that I had the chance to go to Fenway, regardless of the boringness of the game. I mean, it's FENWAY!!!

Ah, Jean, I was a sports stringer for the Midland Daily News starting at age 15.....so that'll tell you where MY head was at!

And yeah, Fenway...even if they did loose tonite!

I didn't end up going.  I planned on it took the day off and DH got home early.  But, we just didn't feel like being in the rain for hours.  I've done it before and it's really not fun at all.

My brother wasn't too happy with me but he'll get over it.

I have tickets for another game on June 24th.  And, I'll try to get some more night tickets again.  I'd still like to see a night game.

Anyway, I did watch on TV and it was LONG, and I think I made the right choice.

Fenway is a great place, a must see if you're visiting the area.  It is all fixed up and over this past summer they did even more work.

My brother only lives about 10 minutes away and his dog Cosmo, loves walking by there everyday trying to find snacks on the ground.  What a find, usually sausage!

AND--to make matters worse, it's a PERFECT baseball night, tonight and I'm working!!
