I stick to what my body tells me.......when I am super thirsty, no sugary drink will kill my thirst.....

Snownose I agree -- sweet does *not* quench my thirst at all.

I honestly could go the rest of my life without 'pop' at all and nothing sweet to drink (it's actually hard for me to drink some "juice" because it can be so thick and sweet). It's a habit -- more than most folks think it is.

if i am thirsty i drink water or a sports drink. for me drinking soft drinks and tea is more about enjoying a beverage than quenching a thirst. kinda like the same reasons for drinking a beer.

Oh you are kidding, tea should be served hot. With milk or sugar. I take mine with sugar.

As long as you don't have a weight problem or dental problems, I see no reason for you not to continue to enjoy your sweet tea.

LOL! I'm a big girl but I still love sweet tea!! Bad teeth run in my family(dad's side) I still have all of my teeth and they are in great condition but almost everyone on my dad's side, have false teeth, including my 23 year old sister. It's some disease that ruins teeth. Alot of my weight problems is genetic. My metabolism sucks!

I love iced tea and will drink it either sweet or plain. I do not like anything else in it though, no lemon or spices. I am not fond of hot tea unless I have a cold or am sick then I love it with honey and a splash of brandy.This summer in Phoenix has seemed even hotter than usual so I have been drinking iced tea by the gallon, right now I am drinking it sweetend with Splenda.

Seems like Tea Drinking is really different over here. I mean, you can't order sweetened tea, for one. You order tea and if you want it sweetend you add your own sugar or sweetener.

And I agree, sweetener is RANK. Yuck, bleurgh, disgusting. I'd rather S**t a hedgehog, thank you so very much. The after taste especially is just Icky.

Oh yes, it should be HOT. But what do you mean, milk OR sugar? Dang it, I have BOTH. Not too much milk though. And a BISCUIT. Hot, strong, slightly sweet tea with a hob nob. Can't beat it. "One nibble and you're nobbled!" Mmm, but honey instead of sugar is also nice sometimes.

I drink hot tea in the winter, but with nothing in it, well, maybe a little rum at times[

Some people do I am sure. Mind you, some people will do anything. Take the mullet haircut for example. Foot fetishes. No one I know personally drinks iced tea.
