And yes, we plan to watch the reunion show and we wonder if Heather will show up for that. she left in a huff.

Yeah, she was angry because she lost. She wasn't hurt that she couldn't have Bret. She was calling him all sorts of names. It was a contest for her and she lost. Even tattooing his name on her neck and willingly agreeing to share him with another woman, she still "lost". She pulled out all the stops and it didn't do any good. She was trying to win, she wasn't in love.

was this show about love? Wink

    • Gold Top Dog

DW liked her the best because she always kept her wits about her.
YES -- me too!! I liked her from the beginning. She always let the other girls have the drama, she didn't draw attention to herself and it seemed she was the only one that had any sympathy (besides Sam) for him & any of the other girls. I don't know if they're still together but I'm glad for once that the better girl was chosen. How silly was it that Heather claimed to LOVE him, getting a tattoo, offering to share him with Jes and as soon as he told her the choice -- she was outta there calling him every name she could think of. Sorry to repeat two of Heather's one liners but... Karma IS a B*tch and who is sloppy 2nd's now? hehehe FINALLY a show that ended the way it should have!!

Anyone catch the reunion show?  Holy moly!  I wasn't expecting that!!

    • Gold Top Dog

Yeah, I watched it....but, I had no idea that Jes and Bret couldn't see each other for 6 months....man, how could they even work on their relationship.....ahhhhh, we have been duped.......fake....fake.......

    • Gold Top Dog

Heh-heh...we've been duped (love that word)!  I think Jes duped us by golly.  Looks like Heather got her man in the end...unbelievable. Hmm

    • Gold Top Dog

Maybe, Bret picked Jes so he could start seeing Heather right away....they looked way too comfy to meWink

    • Gold Top Dog

Hmmm....that's a pretty decent theory! Idea

    • Gold Top Dog

The reason I was heading in that direction was, because, Jes was really cold towards him, and Bret and Heather seemed to gel.......hmmmmmm

    • Gold Top Dog

I didn't even think of that, although had observed the same behavior.  Just like The Bachelor, he can't be seen with any chicky from the show in public...so they're kept separated, keeping the winner or non-winner a secret until show is done.  But still I'm likin' your theory, might be some truth there.  Gotta watch the news to see if anything "newsy" develops.

So, what happened? I watched the clips and saw Heather and Bret all comfy and saw Jes being cold, but they didn't say what happened... I take it Jes and Bret didn't go on from there. Any info?

Jes dropped Brett. She thought it was rude that he didn't walk her to her door, though that was part of the rules of the show. The fact that he drove her back to the hotel was already a violation of the rules. And, there was a 6 month waiting period between regular show and reunion. Jes thought Brett and Heather were a better match since they had a common sense of humor. She said how the two of them could be laughing at something and she had know idea why.

I initially thought that Brett and Heather would be a better match since she has been in show business and is more likely to understand the scene. But that Jes had a cooler head and always kept her wits about her. I think Brett had the most fun with Heather and she certainly showed the passion he was looking for. Also, too, it might be unfair to say that Heather wasn't caring about Brett's diabetes. Who's going to let the star of the show pass out? Ain't gonna happen. That was just for drama, I suppose.

I do think that Brett showed some maturity as he took the hits against his personality in stride.
