I thought you were older. :)

I am older than I look.

Just kidding, great haircut, does your wife do that for a living

She was a hairdresser from the late 70's through the 80's.

    me of Glenn Frey.

I'll have to learn "Smuggler's Blues" and "End of the Innocence" to pull it off.

    "End of the Innocence"
      Isn't that Don Henley?

    How about  'Heartache Tonight?' instead?

Actually, that would be easier. It's based on the standard 12-bar blues progression.

    Maybe it's a bit of a stretch...

I like it, Ron! Have you washed it yet? That's the weird part. (I cut 12" off my hair just over a month ago)

But, would it kill ya to smile? [:D]

I love it Ron!  I am one of those people that love change and love to cut my hair to get that change.  It looks great on you!
    • Gold Top Dog
WOW!!! You look fantastic! I must say, it really does make you look younger. It really looks great!! Do you think you'll keepi it like that for a while?
    • Gold Top Dog
You look great. I also like long hair on guys, but I think this new cut makes you look more approachable. Folks are drawn to your eyes, rather than your hair! Tell DW, nice work!
    • Gold Top Dog
    looks good!

Short hair looks waaaayyyy better.  Im not a fan of long hair on men anyway.  You certainly look...um...not so mean with the short hair.
    • Gold Top Dog
I always vote for long hair on men, but I do really like it short.  It'll be a nice change for you for a while, which is what you wanted anyway.  You are actually lucky to be able to look good with whatever hairstyle you feel like having!!

But, would it kill ya to smile?

I second that!!  Ron, in that first pic, you had the Trace Adkins thing going!  Are you ever going to let it grow back out?!
    • Gold Top Dog
Ron...I confess to missing your long locks but the new look is stellar...so a nice "purrr" (a la Eartha Kitt) from me, just for you! [;)]

Thanks to everyone. I may grow my hair out again. No one made me do this. And it will be fun shocking everyone. My job has me dealing directly with clients every day. No one's ever complained about me having long hair. My job still rests more on what I do and know than what I look like. But I will see if I can detect a change in how people approach me. The other advantage is on a bucket truck day. Our bucket trucks, for fixing parking lot lights and wall packs on buildings, don't have working ac. So, we ride with the windows down. My long hair would break at the pony tail band and I get all this fly-away bugging me to death. So, we'll see how that goes. And since I'm an old fart, my hair doesn't grow as fast, but then, I didn't cut it often. You have to keep the dead ends clipped to make hair grow out right.
