    Wow.
    A wet/dry vac is a great idea.

A pond should be very nice for him for the warmer months.

Clementine is gorgeous.  I don't think I've ever seen that color.  Where's the VC?  That's the one I was looking forward to checking out.  I love chameleons, but I know they are incredibly hard to care for.

Ill take pictures of the veiled today.
All of these photos are ones that had already been taken, I just had to dig em up and upload them. I will get pictures of her later on.

    ETA:
Clementine was actually a steal. The only lizard we have ever bought at petco (the others are all from reptile expos.) We bought her for 50 or 60 dollars. She was marked as a patternless leopard gecko, but in reality she is a Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail, which were going for upwards of $100 at the time. (Popular and coveted leopard gecko colors go in trends).

I used to have a minor Gecko phobia lol. They stick all over the houses here in TX on spring/summer nights. We have usually around 6 near our front door catching bugs lol. Their movement still skeeves me out but I catch them now and again for my kids to look at...then we let them go. The one's here are creepy because they're pinkish white and you can see through them a bit....bleah.

These geckos are some of the only ones that do not have adhesive toes. They are strictly land geckos.

do yours make noise? Ours here are really loud. They make baby croc noises and you can always hear them in late winter in the attics and under eaves where they shelter.
    • Gold Top Dog
    Nope, no noises.

    Here's ours...look how PINK...bleah...lol.

    Lol.
I can see why they might freak you out, but I think they're a little bit cute!
    • Gold Top Dog
yeah a little. The babies are quite adorable actually because they're SO TINY! We find them in the house sometimes, confused babies...I try to catch them before the CATS notice them!

     Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail,

HAHA.  I had to laugh at that.  That's quite a variety name?  Would that be the right term?
    • Gold Top Dog
    Yupyup, thats the name.

Super Hypo refers to the lack of spots on the body.

I forgot to add "baldy", which refers tot he lack of spots on the head.

Tangerine refers to the bright orange color.

Carrot tail refers to the orange coloring on the tail.

ETA: Also known as SHTCT Baldy

He/she's a skink.  :)  We have blue-tailed skinks around here and in NY where i lived.  Beautiful tails but looked exactly like that one only with a bright blue tail.  The tails will grow back so the blue was to draw attention and let the sucker get away with his torso in tact, but not necessarily the tail.  [;)]  Though they're fast when they want to be!
