The Warm Fuzzy Game

Ratsicles - I think it's amazing how you have so many different animals and still manage to care for them all with incredible love and dedication. I know it must have been absolutely heartbreaking to lose Madison, but I really respect you for taking him in and doing your best for him despite his troubled past. I truly believe that he knows how hard it was and appreciates it, too.

Awww I havnt been around much but Im really glad I found this thread!  Really great idea[:)]

To Callie:  Thank you so much for all the knowledge you have given me.  I will ALWAYS be grateful for the information I now hold thanks to you!

To Janice:  Thank you for my siggy[:D] and for bringing joy to my days with silly Rupie pics!

To Shelly:  Thank you for listening when I need to talk.  You have given me strength when I needed it and for that I will always be grateful.  Its funny how things work out and why people come into your life, but you have helped me through an extremely difficult time and said what I needed to hear when I needed to hear it.

To Ron:  Thank you for being an inspiration to me as a man.  Im younger than you, yes lol, but that doesnt change your ability to give me faith in MEN when I needed it.  Reading your posts, whether they be about dogs, your wife, your plants... anything! makes me smile.  You truly are a great person and Im glad to have had the opportunity to meet you here[:)]

To Amanda (Bevolasvegas):  Thank you for being a strong person and giving me strength.

To Megan:  Thank you for being so sweet!  I really feel like I relate to you in many ways and I know if we lived close we would hang out a lot lol.

    To EVERYONE here:

Thank you for getting me through the most difficult time of my life.  I cant express how much all of your posts helped me when I came here looking for comfort after losing Kayla.  I really dont know what I would have done had I not had that support... and from total strangers!  Its has always amazed me.  No one had to say anything, and thats really what I expected... I came here with a head full of emotion and confusion and typed my heart out... to come back and find the overwhelming amount of support and understanding really ment more to me than you can know.  Thank you.

Cita- I SHOULD have thought to put what I did in a pm to you on this thread so that others can see this about you.  So lucky you.. you get get the same same warm fuzzy TWICE!  LOL![:D]

I have to thank you for contributing so much to the warm fuzzy game. Your posts are very well thought out and you can tell you are very genuine about them.  You obviously pay a lot of attention to others and have taken the time to note the good in them.  That speaks to your character.... [:)]

[:)] Thank you!  I know you are a teacher... so just don't pay any attention to the plethora of spelling and grammatical errors  in so many of my posts on this board.[;)] I had 1 ½ years of “speed reading” in high school and can#%92t effectively edit something to save my soul as my mind sees what it WANTS to see.. not what is actually there.  [&o]

Liesje- I admire you doing so much research to be the best that you can be.  The amount of learning you have done prior to getting pooches is quite incredible as is the passion you have for wanting to gain a better understanding of your husbands seizure disorder. You also have a lot of wonderful knowledge and insight to share with others on the board and it is appreciated by many.

jjsmom/Shelly - This was a great idea for a thread, and it seems to be helping things settle down and re-center around here. You seem like a very accepting and open-minded person - I really admire you for trying to see a disagreement from both sides. I've also learned a ton about greyhounds from you and your stories about yours - before I saw your signature picture, I actually thought that all greyhounds were grey! I knew nothing about them, and you've been a great ambassador for and educator about your breed of choice. I was involved with some thoroughbred rescue when I was learning how to ride and I really appreciate how tough it must be to work with racing rescue to find homes for all the doggies. I've started thinking that maybe my next dog will be a greyhound! [:)]

Paula (Paulaedwina)- YOU ABSOLUTELY ROCK!  You are kind, funny and incredibly bright. I love reading your posts.. if i don't walk away learning something, or with a different perspective on something... then I walk away laughing!  I really appreciated the time you spent helping me to understand your line of work and answering so many of the questions that I had. I find you profession a most interesting one.

There are a lot of people I want to mention, and I don't have a lot of time, but I will get to others later....

chewbecca--You are such a good pittie owner, and you recommended an awesome trainer, whome we are about to take Jack to in roughly 15 minutes[:D].

g33--DH and I have literally been in tears laughing that the loldogs and lolcats pics.  Plus, you have a lab, and that makes you cool.

Spiritdogs--you always have such awesome training advice.  You advice has helped me through some stressful dog issues.

Angelique--you have been very willing to give me training advice via PM, even though I may not have been as nice as I should have been to you.  You also inspired me to look further into Susan Clothier, who is now one of my favorite trainers.

nfowler--you have sent me very supportive PMs in regards to Jack's elbow dysplasia.  You have no idea how much that meant to me

willowchow--your and Willow's story has been an inspiration to me.  You have also sent me some supportive PMs in regards to Jack's care after he was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, and you really made me feel much better at a time when I felt like a very confused and crappy dog owner.

Gina--you have always been kind to me, even when I didn't deserve it.  Plus, I have learned a great deal about breeders and breeding from you.

There are more, but we have to leave for training......[:D]

Bradley (Cyclefriends)- I have always respected you, but even more so now with all the challenges you have recently faced bringing Emma into your life and home Your desire to learn so much about training, nutrition and how to take care of your dogs the best you can is truly wonderful.  I think you are one of the best "doggie daddies" I have ever known.

PrincesPride. I love your sparkling personality.  You scored major respect from me for posting pictures of princes poop on that insanely long Timberwolf Organics Thread…LOL.   I enjoyed getting to hear about Prince and Macy  (and how she came to live with you.. it was truly meant to be… and I will never forget that story). You are a strong person and have been dealing with a lot of crap lately but handling it like a champ. You deserve a serious pat on the back for that as well as your dedication to getting in shape.  You have a lot of qualities I admire.

Gradyupmybutt/Annie - you were one of the first people who addressed me directly when I first joined the forums and you were so incredibly sweet. I've seen you do the same for many others - in a newbie's thread that might not get a bunch of replies, there you'll be offering a kind word or encouragement even if you don't really know what they're talking about. And of course your dogs are adorable!

I don't post here much so y'all don't really know me, but I read everything, so I figured I'd contribute to this thread because there are some people who I almost feel like I know, just by reading posts. [:)]

    Liesje:
I find myself getting excited for you as your day to get Chopper aproaches, and I was disappointed to see you take the ticker thing out of your siggy, I was counting down days with you! I think she's gorgeous and I can't wait to see tons of pictures of her when you get her, and I admire your devotion to research of GSD's, and your patience to wait for the right timing and the right dog. You are truly a great role model for the new dog owner!

    g33:
I can't thank you enough for all the LOL pics. They make my day every day! I also am impressed with how active and healthy you stayed during your pregnancy, truly someone to admire. [:D]

    Chewbacca:

I'm always so impressed and excited to hear updates and see pictures of Ella. I find your dedication to Ella inspiring, and persevering despite the struggles you had to overcome. She's an awesome pittie, and you are an awesome owner. Also your Ella's Lead business is well...so cool. [:D] Kudos to you!

I have a lot more, but I guess I can post them later !

Ok, I'm aware I'm not exactly a favorite here but I have some "shout outs" to share! [:D] This is fun.

jjsmom (Shelly) ~ You seem so caring and genuinely kind. This thread was a wonderful idea. Thank you for being so nice and understanding when I was going to leave, it was nice to know someone noticed (and in that respect I thank mollymoo, luvntzus, and sooner - you all are SO sweet)

Gina ~ you are a very fair mod, and an incredibly devoted Beagle mom as well as a kind person!

Glenmar/Glenda ~ I like that you are not afraid to stand up for something you support and what you believe in, and anyone who can manage 6 (am I right?) German Shepherds is cool in my book! : )

Ratsicles ~ Wow, you have such a devotion and dedication to your animals that is refreshing and inspiring. You were so strong to make the decision regarding Madison, and a true hero for helping her as best you could and as much as possible. You must be a very patient person, and that is a quality I really admire.

Xeph ~ Although our views on certain things differ greatly, I really admire your ability to stand up for what you believe in and not question those beliefs when others do. It shows strong character and confidence in yourself, which I could use! : )

chewbecca ~ you are SO dedicated to Ella and working with her, she is truly blessed to have you as a mom.

sooner (Kelly) - one thing that strikes me about you is that you never seem to just follow the in crowd so to speak or say what's agreeable with others just to avoid confrontation. You stand by your beliefs no matter how strong the opposition is and that is a wonderful quality.

janobonano - RUPERT!!! :D lol anyway, I have never seen an unkind word from you on this forum ever, and you seem like a very kind and fun person!

mollymoo - you seem like a very genuine person, who really cares about others and their feelings. It was sooo nice to read your kind message after the religion thread, it truly was.

Liesje - Woah. It wouldn't surprise me if Chopper herself is counting down the days until she gets to live with you! Your preparation for Chop's "homecoming" is really amazing and she is one blessed pupper to have you as her mom. I have had dogs all my life and I am not nearly as knowledgeable as you! Dedication, dedication. :D

Alieliza - you seem like a very kind, accepting and understanding person, and Tyson is oh-so-cute!

Jewlieee - I enjoy reading your posts especially the mindless chatters! Your dogs are just gorgeous, too.

There are many more, I will probably add more later.

ALSO ~ to anyone (and everyone) who didn't think poorly of me or say unkind things because of my stance on the pit bull ban issue, religion issues, or any other controversial thread I caught myself in, lol, a big THANK YOU and hug.
