Spiritdogs- Honestly, I wasn't sure that I was going to get along with you at first. AT FIRST.

chewbecca, even if you hadn't, I would have been glad if you got along with your DOG. [:D]  I think you are a great dog mom and have always liked reading your posts!

ashland - Wouldn't be the first time I kicked a guy to the curb and got the better end of the deal by keeping the dog! I am so glad that you are on a journey of discovery that I hope will give you the wonderful life you deserve, and that your dog has been able to enjoy a life with such a devoted owner.  I do remember those threads, and how I was always wishing that everything worked out for you in the best way...
[sm=wink2.gif] I think you are awesome.

    aw!

You guys have made me CRY!!!

    I'm so emotional today.

We encountered 3 off leash dogs during our training session/walk yesterday and Ella was awful at the beginning of our session, but she walked well once she went potty and the off leash dog situation was under control.

When I say 3 off leash dogs, I mean 3 different dogs, coming towards us in 3 different directions. My dog was beside herself.
She almost didn't know HOW to react. We couldn't go anywhere but forward. My dog fixated on only one of the dogs, which happened to be the biggest dog of them all (the other two were a shih-tzu and a long haired daschund) and that one, luckily was following its owner and they turned the corner. The dog took one look at Ella and decided not to look at her again.
I handed my trainer my direct stop and told her to get prepared to spray any of them that came near us.

Ella walked absolutely horrible at first. Well, for one thing, she gets SUPER excited when she sees my trainer because she LOVES her and she also had to go to the bathroom. My hands are bruised because I used a lead that was too long and had to wrap it around my hand. I need to custom make my OWN leads for Ella. And I need to make shorter ones for her. My hands got smashed when she pulled and squeezed. But NOT rope burned or cut. They would've gotten cut and burned in different leads.

    Anyway!

Shelly- You remind me of a super happy person who always gets a kick out of life. You rescued two wonderful dogs and worked SO hard with them and made some serious changes and improvements with them. They are a LOT happier because of you and your efforts!

Cyclefiend (Bradley)-Bless you for taking in Emma and nursing her back to health. You're a great dog owner and a wonderful person who came up with a VERY popular product for us. Your dogs are so sweet looking.

oh my gosh, I had a LIST of people I wanted to say fuzzy things about and now my mind went blank!

Thank you all for your kind words.

    [:)]  Isn't this just NICE??

Sierra... I have to agree with Marty for what you've done on the Rainbow Bridge Section.  Giving us a visual of what all our fur kids look like all together, a group photo of them waiting for us.  And for adding Mom & Dad's dog Brownie to the first pic so he could be with FeFe made my heart melt.

Mollymoo and JoAnnDe for your stories of Fluffy and Michelle - I spend a lot of time on that portion of the board because so many gave me comfort after losing FeFe.  Reading your stories, the funny ones, the miracles... I can relate to everything you both write [:)].  You're both so loving

And Annie (gradyupmybutt) just the login name makes me laugh!  Your open invite for puppy play time should we ever wander in your neck of the woods will hopefully be taken one of these days [:D]  Now that you have the new cam, it could be well documented!

Lori (willowchow) for keeping the faith when times were rough with Willow and your uplifting stories about her and your grandma [:)]

For everyone that posts pics in the photo for sharing section... I may not always post when I look but I LOVE seeing everyone's furry kids.

One more... Auburn... when I first started looking around, your photo of April caught me by surprise because she looks SO MUCH like FeFe... I love it when you ;post pics of that little love bug!

I'll give a shout out to Yanke for including me on this thread.  I have so little time these days to participate and your thinking of me means a lot!  And I have always enjoyed the wit and humor in your posts, your photos of your dogs and, as everyone else does, I covet your lawn and gardens!

AnnieT, for having the BEST username (gradyupmybutt) and for being one of the first forum members to really make me feel welcome here.

Jeano, for her warmth and its underlying sincerity.

SeraJ (Lani) for spontaneously, kindly treating me to an unexpected gift in the form of my current and prior siggy banner!

Chuffy- I really enjoyed your posts on the training threads.  SO much of that info is over my head and I often felt like your posts were far easier to understand and they spoke to me and gave me greater understanding.  Btw- I will never forget the lovely wedding pictures of you in that glorious red dress.  You looks absolutley radiant.[:)]

    Claire:

I so appreciate the relationship that you have with Jazzie. I admire it from afar, and just find it to be so adorable. Your dedication to your dog is wonderful, and in such an adoring way. That you share him with us oh-so-often makes me smile.

    Nikki_Burr:

I always look forward to reading your posts, you have such a cute spunk for life and appear to have a fabulous bond with Cairo. You also take the best pictures of him! You have to teach me how to teach my dogs to pose like him. [:D]

    Janabonano

Rupert!!! He's such a great ambassador for his breed, I could look at his cute face all day long! His facial expressions are priceless, as are your captures of him. I also agree with one of the above posters who commented that you can speak "dog" better then anyone I've ever seen. [:D] I've been seriously researching V's as my next dog because of Rupert, so thank you for that ! [:)]

Another big shout out for you, Alieliza. Regarding the thread in General Chat, you helped a guy get a misunderstood Dobe to a rescue, rather than the needle. You rock![sm=bow2.gif]

Just speaking the truth as I see it.

While I'm at it, another set of kudos to Mark for sharing his work with his dogs, biking, the springer. My heart runs with the dogs when I see those videos. And the fact that your voice sounds like mine makes me feel like I am there.

Ratsicles- for your wonderfully written posts.  I sometimes skim long posts but I always read your's all the way through.  They really pull me into your head, if you know what I mean.

Lori (Willowchow)-  I admire your work with the beautiful Miss Willow.   You hard work has paid off to make her the wonderful dog and companion that she is today.  You should feel proud of your accomplishments.  [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]

Lisa Marie (pofi_pasquale) has been very generous with her help to me regarding health issues for cats.  I have zero knowledge of cats, but have shared the worry and anxiety about friends' cats who were ill, and Lisa Marie provided some excellent information I was able to pass along to them.  She also has great taste in music and movies!

Ron (ron2) has an uncanny (and entertaining) ability to reference a song title or lyric that ties into just about any topic that could possibly be covered in a thread.  I think his mind is like a juke-box, one whose catalog is heavily weighted in the classic rock genre!
