i do occassionally answer if i dont recognize the number. but if it says unknown name unknown number... then it is almost for sure a telemarketer.
i wish the caller id on my cell would show the name of the caller and not just the number. if i dont have you programmed, then i just get the number in caller id. i cant memorize the number of everyone i know.
i get a lot of wrong number calls on my cell for someone named rosemary. it took me a while, but i finally figured out that rosemary is an 803 area code and not an 864 area code. why doesnt evey city require 10 digit calling? we never had this problem in atlanta. you had to dial all 10 digits there.
of course we had one of the largest calling areas in the country there. 678, 770, & 404 numbers were all local calls. right as we were moving the added another area code 478 i think. it started with a 4 anyways.
i always wanted a 404 number there. we had 678 numbers. everyone knew the 678 numbers meant you lived in the boonies.
it wasnt the boony boonies, but it wasnt mid town either. there were several malls within a few miles of our apartment. they built the mall of georgia right before we moved there. it was nice in the beginning. not many stores, but hardly any crowds (even on sat's). didnt take long though and it was packed wall to wall.
i prefer mom & pop type places anyways. so i didnt mind not going to the mall for everything.
the hardest part about living there, other than the traffic, was finding a safe place to ride my road bike. usually it meant driving out somewhere between lawrenceville and athens. hey to any gtc members who might be reading. that was the bike club i rode with some out there (gwinnett touring club).
whoa! sorry for the ramble. [
