[sm=wink3.gif] I don't want to even get my mother started, she just got happy with me producing a granddog for her to dote on!! Hehee! [8D] Anyway, we're 42 and 43 and fond of leisure time and disposable income []. And, SO (DF/FI?) is a braniac and has two genius kids already in college. So, we'll be happy raising smartypants dogs!! He grew up with farm dogs in western Kentucky, but is now fond of scrappy little terriers. [sm=beret.gif]

Ok, then, I request that you adopt a pack of dogs in which to instill some thinking skills![sm=biggrin.gif]

I love it when things work with "timing" -- David and I got married literally 364 days after he first came here to the States (literally -- he looked at his passport one night and said "Wow!! Look at what WE did!!").  I hope you are as happy as we've been (we've renewed our vows twice - every 5th Anniversary).
 
It's a lovely ring and it's awesome that he planned to sweetly surprise you.  It was a very well thought out surprise, and I think it's awesome that it affected YOU that way.  SAVE THOSE STORIES!!!  They grow sweeter as time passes!
