The big dog walker, i love this thing! I keep it in my car for when i have to do a "pick up" and for when i need to get a leash on fast.Maybe its something you can try to make? I wouls love one in a med and a smaller size.Mine is only good for big dogs.
I have tried the mendota and own one. It's GREAT, except...it doesn't fit Ella's neck correctly and she CAN and probably WOULD slip out of it in that certain trigger situation.
The slip lead we made for Ella is easy to put on her and she cannot slip out of it.
I have sample hardware coming in soon, so then we'll be able to see what we would like to keep in stock.
I for sure will PM all those interested and let you know when it comes in.[

I second nyiceprincess's request -- I have a 30 lb dog that can escapse harnesses unless they are almost completely cinched up. So, I use a martingale. But, I like to have 'emergency' leads around - and while the regular slip lead has worked, I honesly never felt secure using it. This other one looks more secure. I seem to get the immpression that the slip lead will loosen up if I'm not paying attention and she will get out -- so I have to keep it really pulled so it doesn't loosen.
I expect to order some leads this summer as I am in need of some extra's!!
With Ella's control/ slip lead, if she's not trying to back out of it and she's relaxed, her lead around her neck will relax. But not so much that she could slip out of it. If she were to try to back out of it, she couldn't. It's won't relax enough for her to be able to get it passed her ears.[
