Okay I am so smeggin' tired of this RAIN!

***begin rant***

I know folks in the southeast dearly need it, so excuse my b**chin' but I have to. I am TIRED of everything being soggy for days on end...we have mushrooms EVERYWHERE...I feel like a friggin gnome! We have them growing on our GATE for heaven's sake! Now we have a huge nasty bunch of you guessed it...more TORRENTIAL downpours about to come thru here....arrrrgh! I am about prepared for our bedroom to flood yet again! the dogs hate it as they can only go outside when there's a break lol! We're all about stir crazy here!

I hear ya, Gina. It's been raining pretty much nonstop for a week and a half now, and it's due to continue until at least Saturday. Since my weirdo dog hates rain (but he will happily stay out for HOURS in snow and hailstorms, wth?!) he's not getting as much exercise as he needs and thus going nutty in the house, which of course makes me nuts LOL. Everything is soggy, I am mopping up muddy pawprints every day and I think I have a Vit. D defiency LMAO.

I think this is payback for my 2 weeks in the sun. [

Angel.....Dave is a character from the Brit sci Fi comedy Red Dwarf...it is in fact one of the funniest shows ever made. Smeghead, smeg off, smeggin'...it's all part and parcel of being a Red Dwarf fan. [

My only problem with 'smeg' is it's literal meaning--it's a fun word to use but if you use it in front of someone who knows what it means they could become very offended. I remember listening to a Q&A with the cast of Red Dwarf and a younger girl stood up and asked what it meant...everybody started laughing and they actually turned the recording off for about 10 seconds so they could explain it...I think the whole thing was being broadcast or something. You could blow just a little bit of it this way. Not like we're having a drought right now, but I don't expect to see any real rain for about 5 or 6 months.

we are in a pretty bad drought now here, but i have to say i have been loving the weather for the most part. low to mid 80's and relatively low humidity. nice!
