I'm so depressed...I know we need the rain but why does it have to be on the weekend I don't have to work?  I hope everyone is having better weather...

Could be worse- my husband is camping with our 2 sons and a bunch of other kids at West Point for a paintball event.

April showers bring May flowers.   We had a beautiful week.   I got to enjoy it but did tons of yard work all week.  I am tired from that and I am glad its raining so I get a break from yard work.

Oh my boys love paintball.  Don't let them put the balls in the freezer though.  Long story that goes along with an ER trip.  I'm going out and run the dogs and clean house like a mad woman then spend the rest of the day catching up on movies.

Yes, frozen paintballs go straight throw soda cans.

Make sure they were their masks and drill it in to them... I don't know how many kids I had to yell at to keep their masks down when I used to ref!

Oh yeah, that's old news here.  [:)]   ;Paintball has almost become an obesssion around here.  LOL
Both boys are very involved in paintball.  Our oldest son (almost 24)works as a ref for Skirmish USA (he lives about 10 minutes from their fields).  The youngest (18) has his own team, which has expanded into NY,  ;PA and CT .  Last summer, he and his team were personaly invited to play at West Point's fall events by one of the cadets who was organizing it.
Here's his team's website: [linkhttp://www.midnightraiders.acrite.com/]http://www.midnightraiders.acrite.com/[/link]  I think the picture was taken at West Point last fall.  Our youngest is the one in the front row in full gear.

    That's great :).

I think paintball's great. It really teaches team work and discipline and is so addicting it, hopefully, keeps the kids out of trouble.

I used to play a lot; every weekend preferably. I haven't played 1.5 years though; the team I was on was unpredictable at best... no real "team" mentality. It was unfortunate, because the origninal team had some potential. I've been so busy with Maddi and school that I haven't really had much time to think about it, let alone get back in :).
