Of course people will feel ignored sometimes - a lot of times they
are being at least partially ignored. Such is the way of the mutli-person online discussion.
For example, someone posts, "My labradoodle started chewing on my shoes. I employed CM's techniques, and it only got worse. My vet said my dog is fine. What should I do?"
Person A responds: "Everything CM has said, ever, is wrong."
Person B responds: "Everything CM has said, ever, is right!"
Person C responds: "Have your dog checked by a vet."
Person D responds: "If you're irresponsible enough to have your shoes lying around for your dog to chew on, you shouldn't have a dog."
Person E responds: "OMG designer dogs!!!!!!!!"
C'mon, guys, you know you've seen this too! [

I've seen tons of threads where posters assume they know what's going on, but don't actually carefully read the original post (or followups) and 10 pages of replies later the main question is still unanswered.
This isn't because people are mean or stupid or purposely trying to piss people off. A message board is just a place for people to express themselves, all the advice is given free of charge, and if people want to go off on tangents and express things not really related to other people's posts, well, they do have a right to do that (up to a point).
So don't take it personally. It's just kind of how things go. If you feel ignored or unanswered, just restate your original idea and perhaps people will notice it more. Don't feel like it's just you - (I think) we all feel ignored sometimes, and we're all guilty of ignoring things sometimes, too. [
