Do you have a guilty music secret?

You know...you try to sound interesting and off the mainstream with your music choices. But you know you have one artist or group that you just dig..and you'd be mortified if anyone knew it? Well TELL...it'll make you feel better. I'll tell you mine...and I bet NO ONE....can top this one...

    I happen to love, and own a couple CD's by....Weird Al! [:-]

Yes...I am still in love with the 1978 version of Debbie Harry.I actually made a mix disc of female singers ,and at least 3 of her cuts made it on..lol

I was about 11 or 12 when she was hot(not just her music..lol)and her look went a long way to me liking her music, but it stuck..lol

I hope no one here knows my real name..lol

    • I like one or two Justin Timberlake songs
    • I know almost every song by The Proclaimers (most people only know I'm Gonna Be/500 Miles)
    • I listen to a lot of classical music and I'm a Baroque nerd
    • I listen to a lot of traditional African music and recorded some traditional performances while I was in Africa
    • I did buy a Hanson CD when I was in middle school
    • I love the Vienne Boys Choir (and I'm not a perv)
    • I did just find Chumbawumba's 'I Get Knocked Down' in my mp3 folder
    • I love listening to my favorite musicals and daydreaming that I'm the character on stage singing the song

I love MJ -- Michael Jackson!

NO Gina...you can't claim Weird Al as a serious guilty pleasure.Unless your white and nerdy...lol
    • Gold Top Dog
Hmm  I'd say White n Nerdy is Al's fan base...which'd make me the antithesis of that...which makes it far more shameful. In fact the only thing MORE shameful might be Carlton's obsession with Tom Jones.

I love that song by Jimmy Dean (sausage guy) "Big Bad John"  I've loved that song since I was little and I don't know anyone else that actually likes this song

My guilty music secret?  I can listen to 30's and 40's vocal music all day long-especially if I'm driving.  Danny Kay and Bing and all those others.  They had good songwriters and great voices.

My second guilty music secret:  I absolutely love Willie Nelson and old Hank Sr.

My 3rd:  Classical.  I even have a few philharmonics that I DON'T like and won't buy any of their music (San Francisco is the main one.)  I also don't like many of the German Orchestras.

and Hank the First is almost better than Hank3!  "ramblin man"??? sing it loud, sing it proud!

Imagine when I used to pull up to a red light with the windows down in the big rig, and Beethoven's Synphony in A Major or the 1812 blasting.  I got the weirdest looks. [:D]

My other guilty secret is that I love old truck driving songs, and bluegrass. [sm=uhoh.gif]
