    GOT IT!! OK, that makes sense. I actually like the charred flavor so I will probably keep taking the husk off.

    Glenda, if you like grilled corn, try the lime butter on it that I linked for you below.. especially with the charred flavor of the  kernals, it is outstanding.

    I used to do it in the husks, thinking that I wanted to avoid the charing, but then I tried it once w/o the husks and LOVED the slightly charred taste even better, so I always do it that way now!  YUM!
