Mikaela Ritter Posted : 4/27/2007 1:53:17 PM This is way too cool and waaaay too addicting/time consuming.  I Stumbled upon this the other day: http://www.flashearth.com/?lat=34.166566&lon=-118.506845&z=18.9&r=0&src=msl It's basically an aerial view of the entire world.  You can look at the whole world or zoom in and find your own house...I found mine and I can see my individual cars and my trampoline and my pool.  So cool!!  Use the bottom right of the screen to type in addresses and find specific locations.  Upper left corner lets you select different kinds of images.  The Google one gets you the clearest details zoomed in. Also, people have found various critters from above which is way cool!  Copy/paste these coordinates into lower right corner to see some critters! • KCSO Posted : 4/27/2007 4:44:51 PM I think most of the satellites just spend most of their time doing more important things.   Its not that they couldnt get a more updated pic, just that whoever controls them doesnt bother to.
