I went with a walk today with a friend and Sara behind our house. If we follow the crick it leads to 3 seperate ponds. Very beautiful and it's a nice walk. We came across the skull of what I believe to be a possom. So I took it with me to bring back for the boys to check out. We carried on and saw 2 sets of ducks nesting. (Very cool. Since I love ducks)
Then we get way far from the house and we are in the bush looking at this beautiful pond and Sara is determand to go through some bush. I am holding her back with everything I've got and I'm very surprised at her behaviour. Then I smell something. Not nice.
Then I see what Sara is about to get and it's a large dead animal. At first I thought a baby deer, then a fox. I handed Sara over to my friend to get a closer look. I believe it was a young coyotte. I wish I had brought my camera. It was about Sara's size, so too big for a fox. And it had a dog like face. I was freaked right out and couldn't get out of there fast enough. I'm afraid of my own shadow, so the whole walk back I was looking over my shoulder. Once I was back on safe ground, [
