i dunno... i was in the hospital when i first saw it.... i almost laughed but stopped myself (surgery and stitches and whatnot, wasnt worth it)
but after the last fifteen hundred times (before i left the hospital) i didnt think it was funny anymore..

oh yeah, speaking of annoying commercials, who else is tired of the Gecko?? it used to be funny, but now i'm in danger of falling asleep before the commercial is over. I like the Caveman better... and the Duck.... (my mom bought some Aflac duckies the other day [] guess what i'm gonna name one of them [] )

nah its better if you have a DVR.. which we dont..... bloody expensive big screen tv and no satelite or cable..
I told my husband we should sell the tv, and dining room table and chairs, plus the sofas and love seat, and use the money from all of that to buy a pool table and a juke box.... then our friends will want to come over more often []

Yup the DVR is the best remedy for those ever so annoying commercials, which I have to agree mr barkey von schnauzer is so stupid, and it is for food, goes from that man calling for is dog with that retarded name to give your dog something he really likes to the food I think, its food.

Yup, yup, yup, TiVo is great! I can't believe I did a "do what you want" (see the thread about woman-speak) when DH wanted to get it! Now I love it!

I HATE THAT GUY!! i just wanna slap that smug grin off his face!!
there was another commercial for CountryWide home loans or some junk.... just an old guy talking at you about home loans... my kid, when he was learning to crawl, would come from across the house to see this guy.... he was fascinated with him. he would plop his butt down in front of the tv and watch the whole commercial.
that commercial came on one day when my son was crying..... shut him instantly. my mom got an idea and recorded it on her dvr.... works like a charm. it STILL works.
maybe my kid is just a weirdo, or he's going to be a home loan salesman..... i cant figure out the fascination with that commercial. Forget Veggie Tales, or Sesame Street... nooooo... Country Wide Home Loans Guy. worth a million!
