It's kind of ridiculous that renting is SOOO much cheaper than a mortgage. The mortgage on the house we live in, if we bought it now, would be $4000 or more, and our rent is $2400.   I don't know why we moved here. Although three years ago, when we moved here, this house was worth about 400. It's now worth 750 or so.
