I AM BACK!

    I AM BACK!

Hello there everyone! I am not a figment of your imagination, I am really back. [:D]

I had some adventures in the hospital, am covered in holes and bruises from failed injection and IV attempts, but I am ok. We don't know yet whether the treatment will work, it can take up to 2 weeks for any effect to show. I did suffer through some pretty bad side effects, and my veins started collapsing, so a lot of it wasn't much fun.

I missed you all so much, especially my Lefty [;)], and am so grateful for all the good vibes. They really helped me get through it all.

I would have been back sooner, but I have pretty much been asleep since I got home. My treatments were 3 times a day at 7 am, 3 pm and 11 pm, and they lasted for 3 hours, so I was only sleeping 4-5 hours a night in there. I got home Friday afternoon so exhausted I could barely keep my eyes open.

Thanks again for all the well wishes, everyone. I am both grateful and touched.

    Kate

Hey Kate, glad to see you back!  I just home on Wednesday, myself.

Lynn, have you noticed any effect? And did you get the leg cramps? OMG did those hurt! They had to give me muscle relaxants to take the edge off just so I could stand up.

I hope it works or is working for you!

The leg cramps were a killer!  I've had one minor headache since I was released, so it seems to have helped.  Have you noticed any change?  I hope so.

Glad to see you back Kate, and I truly hope that the procedures give you (and Lynn) some relief.  I can't even imagine what it must've been like, but you always understand how bad things must've been when you see what someone's willing to go thru to get better.  I hope the Easter Bunny brought you something extra special [:D

Welcome back Kate...you were very missed while you were away by many of us. [:)]

I am keeping fingers crossed for no reactions and a successful treatment!  It is tough getting any rest in the hospital so I am glad that you are getting caught up on some!
