That sounds so perfect for you Glenda!  See...there was a reason you had to put up with those crummy neighbors...better things to come!

The house in town was stunning....110 years old and the most beautiful wood that I had ever seen, but the neighbors sucked.  Especially the poop flinger up the hill.  This house is nice, and it served our needs, but, the road is heavily traveled by folks in a major hurry, seldom plowed and that subdivision is a royal pain with the unsupervised kids who like to use my motor home as a public outhouse.  The new house is plenty big.....away from everyone and everything...the nearest neighbor is 200 acres away.....except for the old schoolhouse.  The old schoolhouse faces the main road and is owned by some folks downstate who the owner has seen 3 times in six years......they come up now and then to vacation but that's it...and they have 2 shepherds.  My "road"..which has a name and all, is actually the driveway into the property, so won't have to worry about traffic on that!

That sounds great! I'm glad things are going good for you.
I have a second kitchen and I love it.  I only use it a few times a year, but it is so nice when having a big dinner, dh can cook his specialties in one kitchen and I in another.

Terri, come see me about canning season....I'll TEACH you how real fast!!  It's a major job and I'm the only one of my sisters (all older) who still actually DOES can, but man the satisfaction from seeing the finished product AND the flavor of home canned instead of store bought tomatoes...no comparison!

Glenda I just had a thought.  Are you going to go and take down the barbed wire you set for the stupid neighbor kid who used your motorhome toilet?
    • Gold Top Dog
Ya know, actually I don't think so.  That stuff is a major pain to put up and I've torn up enough of my flesh!  The next folks can have it to try to keep the little jerk out of the yard!

[sm=lol.gif]  But dont you walk the fence line to check for animals that may have gotten caught?  Who will do that if you arent there?  Although if nothing has gotten caught in it by now its likely that nothing ever will.
    • Gold Top Dog
Oh dang it.  Yeah, guess I'll take the wire cutters out today and get it down while the snake risk is still low......I wouldn't want a wild critter getting hurt.

That's great! [:D] Sounds like the perfect house!
    • Gold Top Dog
Didn't mean to make more work for you.  I think you are wonderful for checking the line everyday for critturs.  Not too many people would...
    • Gold Top Dog
Gosh, how could they NOT??  I put it up to try to keep a human away and I really would feel awful if a wild animal were caught and injured by it.  Thats why I walk the darned thing every day....to be sure that if someone is caught, I can.....call for help or something!  not real sure WHAT I'd do if I found someone caught, but I'm guessing the old farmer down the road would have a plan......
