Last nite she seemed a bit more awake and the BP is staying down. My nerves are completely shot staying away, so today I'm going......

OK, Mom is home from the hospital. She has to stay off her feet since there is a little lump in the groin where they went in and she MUST take it easy and keep her feet up, but she's home, tired still, but home and doing well. Her procedure isn't until the first part of June, so please keep a good thought for her.

Thanks to everyone. The angio to clear that kidney artery won't be done until early June so she still is going to need to be careful of her BP and her activity levels. I'm sure it feels good to her to be HOME again and to be able to sleep at nite without someone coming in to check her BP!!

Damn it. Sis had to take Mom into the ER again. She's in there on a nitro drip trying to get the BP down and the pulse rate UP. That's all I know, I talked to my BIL. Sis is at the hospital. This really has me scared.

Oh no....sending new prayers for your Mom to get this controlled. I understand why you are scared, so prayers for you and your family are coming also.

They've admitted her again. Sis just called and they're sending her back upstairs. They DID do a CAT scan since sis and I were both worried about her memory, her fatigue and her rambling. Luckily, that checked out ok.

Ok, the reason that they wanted to wait on the angio is because of the dye they use in the kidney...they wanted to give it some time to clear out of her system. That said, they're gonna do it tommorow morning. On a nitro drip her BP has come down to around 190...had been at 245! So prayers would be GREATLY appreciated that she comes through this ok.
