need your opinion...can't be objective!

I need everyone's help because I can't make a rational decision on this one. I need to send my father a replacement picture of me for his living room. The current picture is about 10 years old....

So DH and I went out this weekend to take some shots of me and as usual I hate every photo of me. They aren't horrible pictures, but I just never think a picture looks like me and never am happy with the results. To top it off, DH doesn't know how to use my camera so the setting are screwed up so I wouldn't be happy with any of them even if I thought they were great pics of me personally. DH thinks I am being silly and I just need to pick one but I can't make a decision and my family is split over which one they like the best and I can't ask my dad his preference because it is a surprise.

SO I thought I would post the ones that the family is split between and ask idoggers which one they would chose. I will pick the one that the majority of you like best to put into photoshop, work with a bit and then print an 8x10 and send off to dad next week. I figure this is the easiest way to decide this "crucial decision".[8D] I actually had 1 or 2 that I thought were decent of me...but in both pics DH cut off my head so those ones are out! LOL!

I like #1. The color balance in #2 seems to be just a little bit wonky - maybe with some photoshop adjustments it'd be better? Anyway I think it's a lovely picture.

I love the second one because your hair color is really pretty, and so is your eye color! And if your dad has mainly black & white pics in his house, then yours would stand out. [

I like #5 because it is not straight on. Definitely not #4 because your hair is covering your eye.

#3 is my favorite, but if it's going to be an "and this here is my beautiful daughter...." sort of picture, maybe you should be facing the camera? So they can get a better look at ya. [

So, either #3 or the color version of #1 (because, as previous posters have mentioned, it shows off your eye and hair color better than B&W).

This is really helping me so that I don#%92t have to be the one to pick, LOL and I appreciate the “why” you think a certain one is better than another too.

They are all lovely pictures of you. I like number 2 and 3 the best. Love your hair.

I reallly love # 4 the best. I love the smirk and the way your eyes are, I am sure your father has seen that look for many years but especially when you were little.
