Anna Nicole Smith - Dead

I just found this thread and have not been watching the news this morning. How very sad for all concerned. I feel very sad for poor Anna who seems to have gone through so much and that poor little baby. Who has started life with so much controversy as to who the father is and now to be left motherless.

Just heard the autopsy is tomorrow, should have some info by the end of next week. It's sad, but I've never seen a person this young who was found in their apartment like this have anything other then drugs as the cause. Occasionally young people die from arrythmias, but it usually is at a moment of stress like during an argument or physical activity. Poor soul, What a troubled life. I hope her little girl will have some peace unlike her mom

This is a really sad situation.  She obviously had problems but deserved better than this.  Sadly, she died under the same shroud of contreversy as her idol, Marilyn Monroe.

I heard about this when I went onto Yahoo, I can not belive it.
 
She was under so much stress and critisizm, I do wonder if she Overdosed on something. Lately when I had seen her on interviews she did not look good and looked as if she was on something. I feel horrible for her baby girl.

I swear that everyone who touches her husband's money is cursed. I feel soooo sorry for the poor baby. Truth definitely IS stranger than fiction.

It could be heart disease...all the stress could have gotten to her.  Many young people have died from this lately--including my 25 year old cousin last January.  It hits like a ton of bricks, and is completely unexpected.

I agree with others, though, in that an overdose would not be surprising as the cause of death.

DS #1 has an interesting theory.  He thinks Howard is the father and that he also had something to do with the death.  The baby has quite a sizeable inheritance and he would be in control of it for the next 18 years.  Lord!  I need to quit watching so much weird late night TV.

No, I thought the same for a moment.  It sure is possible.  This guy stayed with her through the whole battle for that money and the only thing that made me think twice about him was that I thought the battle was still going... so if she hadnt won yet... I dont know what hed get that way.  But I dont know the status of the case.  Its a very strange situation thats for sure.

It's awful to think, but I also thought that since Howard is being questioned for Daniels death that maybe he was involved with Anna so now he and his new daughter can collect some money. I hope for the babies sake that Howard is not the father, only because I think he will sell anything he can to make a buck. Maybe I'm wrong but come on, they made a ton of money off the birth pics and the pics of Daniels funeral.
That poor girl has just been through way to much. I don't know how anyone could hold on through it.
 
I heard that Anna's mother is trying to get the baby. Anna never had anything to do with anyone from her family because all they wanted was money.
I used to watch her reality show all the time. And her family would show up at the door waisted looking for a place to stay and looking for money. Sometimes she would give them a cheque just so they would leave.
I don't know if any of you saw, but when Daniel died her family was not even at the funeral because Anna didn't want them there. So they held a memorial for him back home and of course they let it be shown. It's all about money.
 
BTW, Anna was still fighting for her late husbands money. She did get a portion of it, but she ran through it all already.

I just can't help but wonder if it was more sinister than a "simple" drug overdose... You know, anytime there is billions of dollars involved, it has to be considered.  I feel terrible for the life she led, truly.  As Gina said, self induced or not, it was one h*ll of a rocky road.  I hope that baby girl is not destined to travel down the same one. 

When I saw this yesterday I was shocked.  It is so sad.
 
My two theories are these:  1) Ephedra in the TrimSpa caused a heart attack.
2) She was murdered by someone close to either Howard or that other guy claiming to be the babies father.  I think questions will be answered once they get blood work and paternity tests.
 
I just hope things are answered and that poor baby who is the victim in all of this is put with the best possible people so she can grow up somewhat normal.  I doubt that will happen but I hope it does.

My DH last night says:
"best thing for that baby would be to simply be placed with a normal adoptive family who didn't know who she "was"..'
 
 harsh but that sure would help the poor kid grow up as normal as most of us!
