    Watching them makes me happy...

We got Shannara, Halloween of 2001. She has been an only dog up until a month ago, when we got Bubbles. She was always a good dog even in our second floor apartment before we moved into this big house.(When we first got her, we had a place with a yard but the military moved us into "their" housing. We lived in a 3 bedroom, second floor apartment for 4 years. We outgrew the place 2 years ago with the addition of son number 4. We were all very happy when we were able to move to a bigger place.) Shaun was litter trained for our apartment and also housebroken. She loved walks around the lake that our apartment complex enclosed. Despite her having the kids to play with inside and the daily walks, I felt sorry for her. I wished she had a yard and more space. Anyway, seeing her change in the past few months  has been wonderful. She plays with more toys now. She can actually play fetch with the kids. Also, seeing her have Bubbles to play with is fabulous. Those two chase balls together, eat out of the same bowl and sleep together on the porch. Once inside, they tear up the house with wrestling and chasing. I love being able to see what a difference our move has made to Shannara. She seems to be a happier dog. Watching the 2 dogs together brings a smile to my face every time. Not to mention laughter in surround sound from my sons.

Yours is a sweet home, and I am so happy for the dogs. I wish that most dogs find such homes as yours instead of shelters and awful panes. Keep up the good work, your reward is your happiness which most people  don't have.
My dog's name is Maisky, so lovely and a great companion. So I know how happy  it can feel to have an animal so well behaved.
