We knew they were shot by americans because they came bragging to our campsite about how they shot the moose right out of their trucks. When questioned they told us that they didn't bother with tracking. This was the case in the second incedent as I was there and was involved in the conversation myself. The other two incedents were similar to my understanding, but I admit, I only helped with the tracking.
So, they are unethical hunters, they break the law, then they go up to a complete stranger and brag about their antics? Forgive me for being a little skeptical.
What do you use your guns for?
I don't hunt much anymore but I do hunt. I am an accomplished silhouette (handgun), benchrest and trap shooter. I used to be a certified pistol (home defense) instructor. To answer your question, the last thing I used a gun for was to shoot a muskrat in my pond. I think I mentioned I own 23 guns. Some of them have never been fired so some of them I don't use for anything. I have employed a firearm one time to stop a crime against my person. I was fully prepared to shoot but fortunately just brandishing the gun was enough to control the situation. The kid who tried to rob me had a knife.
Ummm... so helmets only help when you wear a seatbelt too? Ya lost me there.
We were talking about motorcycles. You said, as I recall, that race car drivers wear helmets. I was pointing out that there is a difference between cars and motorcycles and the seat belt analogy came in there.
