It was definately texturing sheers he used and I even asked him when he was doing it if it would make my hair look dead on the ends b/c I sort of remembered that happening before. It is mostly just at the bottom that it looks dead. I have dry frizzy hair so I don't need anything to make it look any worse. It seems to look OK everywhere else, not as good as it usually does, but OK if I use a lot of product to basically make it oily and weigh it down, although it never looks or feels oily, it is just moisturized on the ends.. My hair always looks its best when it is really dirty and I haven't washed it for 3 days! I never blow dry but I always use a straightening iron every few days when I wash it.
I think I will go back and ask him to clean up the bottom a little at least. He really is an awesome hairstylist and I have no intentions of leaving him...although it takes him about 2-3 hours from start to finish everytime I go there which makes it really hard to go very often.
Thanks for the advice. I might try product for a little longer to let it grow out just a little more and then go back. My aunt works there and I will see her this weekend so I think I will also ask her what she thinks.
