OMG malt vinegar on fries!!! Yes! Must have it! I can handle like really super-processed fast food fries with just ketchup, but it isn't acceptable to me to have fresh-cut fries without malt vinegar.

I was born in Canada and my dad's Canadian.

Yep, the fresh-cut fries must have malt vinegar.

No offense meant about the "from Canada" thing.  I also remember my mom's relatives coming to visit us when I was really little and they put brown sugar and hot water (like boiled in the tea kettle) on their Shredded Wheat.

No offence taken! Just correlating a need for malt vinegar on fries with being of Canadian origin. [:D]

I figured that.  Just doing a CYA move since, being from Michigan, saying someone was "from Canada" or "from Ohio" can sometimes be taken as a derogatory remark.

Pizza with just a little shredded mozzarella,  herb seasoned feta cheese or gorgonzola,  sundried tomatoes and pesto sauce instead of the regular tomato sauce.

A big spoon of peanut butter, rolled in chocolate sprinkles and swirled through cool whip.

Gravy on my french fries (blame Germany for this one!)

Potato chip inside my sandwich (Pringles and Turkey is the BEST!)

I like those, too, Gina.  But I like Ruffles instead of Pringles  Chips on hamburgers is good, too.  Some really weird things I eat (according to my hubby):  sliced dill pickles on Ruffles potato chips, salami and cream cheese on rye bread, tomato and sour cream on rye bread, Ritz crackers in tomato soup, pretzels dipped in soft cream cheese, italian salad dressing on meat and fries.
Dips- ranch dressing and cream cheese, salsa/taco sauce and cream cheese.

Something else I do that kind of weirds out my husband is to drink my beer on ice (when I drink beer).  The funny thing is, I ask for my soda without ice when we go out.

beer & Bloody Mary mix, can't remember what he called it, does anyone know?

We've always just called that a Red Beer.

I've always thought Canadian bacon and sauerkraut were perfectly normal pizza toppings until moved out of the state. Order that in Chicago and they look at you really funny andd ask if you're from Iowa. Try ordering that in Denver and they ask you what sauerkraut is.
