It seems like we have quite the baby factory going here, so I might as well tell everyone too...
Yep, I'm pregnant too...going on 7 weeks.
I didn't tell a lot of people, mostly because it took me almost 2 weeks to get over the shock and stress of the situation, and despite the fact that I've never had any "female" issues and not a single pregnancy problem thus far, I had this lingering fear of what if I had a miscarriage. I don't know why that was in my head, even though it still pops into my mind frome time to time, but after I went to the doctor, and he said he thought I'd have a pretty easy go, I felt somewhat relieved.
I think the scariest part was telling my mom, who I knew would freak out despite the fact that I'll be 25 by the time the baby is born (and Brett will be going on 30), and I've been married for over three years, and completed college and grad school (except for defending my thesis). About 72 hours after I broke the news, she wasover it, and as I told more people who were actually excited, I felt better.
So anyway, that's my pregnancy announcement. I guess it was time to share the news.[
