• Picture and update! LovinMyLife Posted : 1/16/2007 1:55:52 PM Cadence is still doing well. She has to have an X-ray of her tummy today because yesterday when she was being fed, she started acting a little funny and turned a little pale. They think it is just because they increased her feedings from 3ccs to 5ccs, but they want to be sure nothing is wrong. In a couple of days they are going to try to take her off the ventilator and graduate her to the little prongs in her nose!! She is under lights for jaundice, but yesterday the nurse turned them off for a little bit and took off her little sunglasses that protect her eyes and she opened up her eyes and looked at me for the first time! It was so cute! Her eyes are dark blue, just like her sissy's were! I will keep everyone updated and hopefully she will continue to do as well as she has so far! Babies are the best when they are new babies. I wanted my boys to stay babies forever! Watch out though, before you know it they are 2yrs old and talking back! Then you think to yourself, who traded my little baby for this?!?! all kidding aside though. I'm glad everything is going good for you. I know what you are going through. My youngest was 3 months early also.
