• dyan Posted : 1/23/2007 9:41:16 AM I'm off from work today, been tuning in every few minutes but getting the same thing all the time...its two duck,,one in the pond and another just getting in,,,,it swims close to the one in the water and then the picture goes still. Everytime I go back I keep getting the same thing,,,this has been going on for a few hours now. • rwbeagles Posted : 1/26/2007 9:50:28 AM Oh Dyan...it's because when other kids watched cartoons after school I watched Wild, Wild, World of Animals, Wild America, and Wild Kingdom...lol! ALL my games as a child centered around pretending to be this gazelle or that predator...and my most prized possessions were my HUGE set of those little plastic animals you bought in bags at the grocery store....they came with tiny acacia trees [] I had a set of wildlife ency from Funk & Wagnalls and I wore them OUT! I watched every single 'Nature' on PBS (George Page!)...in short I am and always have been obsessed with animals.   There are at this point...very few animals I can't name from a picture or sighting...and usually I can tell you a bit about their social life, food, and breeding habits lol.   Obsession from youth to now...plain and simple [] My daughter Lily is going down the same path...it must be genetic!   As to africam...I believe at the forum...people have links in their sigs to ID sites for figuring out who's who at the watering hole.
