    Dyan bought up that her brother-in-law was advised to go to Cleveland Clinic for his heart problems, unfortunately he didn't make it, his family is in my prayers. But another member (I am sorry I can't remember who) mentioned this study. And because DH has so many health problems I went to check it out it's a great thing to hold onto hopefully none of you will ever need it but I think knowledge is power so some day it may help.

    Although I kick myself for saying this because my hospital is on about half of the listings :)  They way US news makes these rankings (and who are they really to assess good medical care?)  is by taking into account several factors including research productivity.  So basically to get this ranking, you have to produce a lot of research.  We all know there are FANTASTIC physicians in every field who are not also researchers, so please keep that in mind.  We hae people all the time calling our department of surgery in various areas stating they want to switch to our hospital because we are the "best" in an area and to be honest, there are many others who are just as good :)  It is nice to see your institution on lists like that though :)
