college football overload?

just wondering if anyone is having college football overload?

there have been some good games on today. it is almost too hard to keep up with four games at once though! [

so far today, only one team i was pulling for has won. at least the other games were pretty close. i was for sure tennessee would win. i was really pulling for arkansas, and i think they had the better team overall but still lost. i really really wanted georgia tech to win, especially since they are an acc team. i thought at half time they had the game well in hand, but lost by 3.

watching the rose bowl now. usc is currently leading, but the game hasnt been on for too long. not a michigan fan, but i really hope they win.

it is sad that college football is almost over though.

I got to have a break this morning while DH was at the Cotton Bowl which his favorite team won! Now that he is home though that is all that has been on the TV for the rest of the day. I am always on football overload with him!

I'm pretty ticked about this morning's game. That was not the same Tennessee team I watched during the fall. It was like a pathetic, untalented high school team. How embarrassing for Tennessee, its fans, and the SEC.

Even worse (surprisingly), Arkansas blew it in the Capital One Bowl by playing like crap. I couldn't believe it. Two embarrassing losses in one day.

At least Auburn won. Barely.

I'm pleased with USC's win, even though I loathe the Trojans. Michigan fans complained about getting snubbed for the title game, yet their amazing team was less than stellar tonight. Delicious victory for USC.

i was really rooting for michigan. oh well, i guess we got to see what their team was all about.

the fiesta bowl is at the end of the 1st. surprisingly, boise state is leading 14-7. i dont think they can keep it up for the whole game, but it has been interesting so far. seeing the camera shots of the OU band standing there dumbfounded .... priceless! [

A guy DH works with said "H-E-double hockey sticks" froze over when Kentucky was invited to a bowl game... I guess it's still snowing since 'down there' they actually WON lol

I have to say, I thought WVU was going to lose yet another Gator Bowl - thank goodness I was wrong! Glory Glory Hallelujah! [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif] They came out a totally different team after halftime.

As for the football overload... well, it's gonna be gone for a while so we better enjoy it while we can!

You know, sometimes the luck can hit any team, just happened to be UK this time. What you were thinking is similar to what was going thru my head when WVU was losing to Georgia Tech... it's a nightmare! I always pull for Tennessee tho... in football and especially in basketball (women's). Hoping to get to see them play WVU's girls this year.

YAYAYAY!!! Another Vols fan! Woo!

Well, yesterday's game made me sick. Not fun.

Basketball has been great, though! I don't go to Thompson-Boling Arena (where Tennessee plays basketball) too often, but I've been twice so far. I watched the Lady Vols beat Stanford, which was cool. The next day I went to Neyland Stadium and almost stroked out as Kentucky led until the fourth quarter. [:@] The best game was the men's basketball team beating Texas! We went to overtime and kicked butt! Awesome game! [

Now I want LSU to beat Notre Dame and Florida to beat OSU. That would end the season well.

ETA: The Lady Vols did play WVU's girls ... and won. The Lady Vols will be in Morgantown for the 2007 - 2008 schedule, so make plans to see them! [

beginning of 4th quarter.... 13-10 wake.

so far it has been a defensive struggle. looks like l'ville is about to score again though.

I just flipped it over a few minutes ago and saw 17 - 13 -- Louisville ...

I hope WF wins. Louisville has not impressed me this year and landed in the Orange Bowl by pure luck, not talent ...
