A nice quiet Christmas with friends, the ones who's adopted daughter is our goddaughter.
One gift I have really liked is what DW got me from the Duluth Trading Co. It is a robe for tradesman. The liner is short-pile fleece, the exterior is firehose canvas. Now, I can look like a tradesman, straight out of the shower. And they came with a freebie, a set of fleece gloves that wick away moisture. And those things work, too. I've been needing a new alarm clock and I got one. Until then, I had been using my cellphone alarm.
Dec 19, 1993 is when DW and I met and we always celebrate that. I'm thankful to have a good-natured wife and good-natured pets. And I will toast to the New Year with, hopefully, a good-natured job. Even though I have applied for an inspector job, I can make more money in the private sector, which is why I had money saved up to see me through this "lay-off." So, I'm putting out apps in that arena, as well.
And I'm thankful to have this forum and all of you dog-crazy people to carrouse with.
Woof!
