Weird weather

• Weird weather Terri Posted : 12/15/2006 12:55:43 PM Yesterday western washington got hit with a freak wind/rain storm. We had near hurricane gusts of wind and almost 2 inches of rain. There are trees down all over the place and over 1 million people lost power.   I woke up this morning to a cold, dark house. Unfortunately my office still had power, so I am at work.   It seems like the weather here keeps getting weirder. We're breaking records for rainfall, having unusual snow storms and now weird wind storms. What next?? [&:]   Anybody else having any strange weather for their area? • jeano Posted : 12/15/2006 1:01:11 PM We got a sprinkling of snow yesterday and last night. But no snow for weeks and weeks and weeks. Yes, that's pretty darn weird for here. Though it has happened before. We also had two weeks of 20 below, then two weeks of 20 ABOVE. • loveukaykay Posted : 12/15/2006 1:05:35 PM Jeans and tee shirts here... saw a lady in shorts today at the store.  Its about 69 outside in the middle of the day, more like 90 when you get in the hot car.  At night it gets to like 50 I guess.  About a week ago we got down to 30.  Its always crazy weather here though, changing from the AC to heat in the same day is not unusual.   ETA:  And its been extremely foggy.  Kinda neat looking but not good to drive in.  Went to get the mail last night and could feel it on my arms, cold wetness but it wasnt raining or anything. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • fuzzy_dogs_mom Posted : 12/15/2006 1:12:03 PM Weird here, too.  Chilly nights but my trumpet vine and my hybiscus (sp.) have blooms on them - in mid December.  And for the last two years we've had really horrific, long lasting heat waves in the summer.
