We have to wear durable clothing, shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, per OSHA.
Ron - now there's a funny image --- an electrician in his flannel PJs, wearing a hard hat, steel-toed boots and safety glasses. But you're right, you might get a few raised eyebrows if you came to work in your own "sleeping attire," even if you did meet all the above OSHA requirements!! [

When I worked in the accounting office of a large hospital, we were always jealous of the employees who got to wear scrubs -- that's like PJ day EVERY day! In fact, a few of us (including me [

]) asked if our department could adopt that "uniform." We even told our boss we could wear green ones to represent the color of money, so we'd be identifiable as the finance department!
