• I need a little prayer please Wendy C. Posted : 11/20/2006 9:29:25 AM I have an appt at the Choctaw Nation Health Clinic with the dentist today at 3pm... I am having 3-4 teeth pulled...and I have a MAJOR dentist phobia....I mean HUGE!!! So big that i have to take a couple of valium just for them to look at my teeth!!! ( i dunno where this phobia came from but ive had it my whole life) AND i have to take a round of antibiotics an hour before they do anything because of my heart...I have Hypotrophic Cardiomyopathy & have an ICD/pacemaker placed...(they want to make sure i dont get an infection) so im nervous about that too... Anyway could yall please pray that all goes well and that the numbing shots dont make me too sick and that its quick and over and all goes well...(Lidocain shots always make me throw up too, yes i must be weird) Thanks a bunch yall!!!! • calliecritturs Posted : 11/21/2006 12:33:14 AM Tink's mom -- doesn't sound at all weird to me.  I looked ALL OVER down here in Florida before I found a wonderful dentist who will give me GAS.  I am one of those rare people who doesn't get 'numb' with the novicane derivatives.  Often I've had 10 and MORE shots and still don't get numb.  For me the ONLY way is gas.  It works so much better for me but it's hard to find a dentist who will use it.  I wonder if it would be an option for you? 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
