Ashley came home from school yesterday and after an hour of being home broke out in hives. She broke out Tuesday morning at 4 am as well. i gave her her meds and waited. At 9:30 pm last night she broke out even more. Her face and entire body was covered. I called our DR, and he said there was really nothing he could do. If she started to have trouble breathing rush her in to ER, or if she was passing out. He said because they don't know for sure what is causing it we just have to wait it out until she is fully checked. So I didn't sleep last night.
Now the DR and I have been thinking it's the mold. The very first time this started was back in May. We thought maybe it was the lotion I was using. Then we thought it was pollin. Then we noticed it was more active when it was a rainy day. But her last 4 breakouts have began the minute we come home.
We went out for Halloween then came home, half hour later she broke out. We went to a family party, came home she broke out. The other night she broke out in her sleep, then yesterday once she got home from school.
She can't get get in to the specialist until Dec.4th, but they do have us on a cancleation list.
Now, here's another one for ya. Perry the cat has been weezing, and Sara has been acting like she has furballs. She does not barf, just sounds like a cat with a fur ball. Our vet said it most certainly could be the house, but if I notice anything severe to bring them in right away. But he said since everyone is out of here tomorrow wait and see if the problem continues. Any ideas on this one? I'm not sure I like this new vet, so I don't know how I feel about his opinion just yet.
