    Something I noticed..

That a lot of the people that are on this forum are on other dog forums I frequent. Kinda funny. I guess the internet is small..haha. I really like dog forums and forums in general so I join a lot of them. Since I got a new pup just only a week ago I guess that's probably why I'm joining them all..

So what forums for dogs are you a member of?
    I have: dogforums.com
    I-Love-Dogs.com
    chazhound
    Doghobbyist.com

And a few others I can't remember. haha

This one dog forumm takes up so much time that I haven't really bothered to look for anouther forum. Before I joined I-dog I was a member on www.petwebsite.com forum but I don't go back there as much as I once did.

I am a member of a few non-dog forums but I only go to thoes if I have a question about that subject. I think of all the forums I belonged to or do belong to this one by far is the best IMO.

I am also a member of greytalk (for retired rescue greyhound owners).  I usually spend 90% of my forum time on i-dog though. [8D]

I am a member of this one and www.pitbullforum.com
I am also a member of pitbulltalk.com, but I haven't been there in a while because most of the people there are members of pitbullforum.com and that was is a faster paced and more populated so a lot of my questions get answered quicker.

I come here because I like the people here and I have learned a LOT here.

I'm a member of terrierclub.com, but I barely ever go there..

I'm on some dog and general-pet-related communities on Livejournal (dot_pet_snark, stupidpetowners, dogtrainerstoo, positivelydog, dogsintraining, practical cats, dogpacks--I know that sounds like a lot but most of those are super-low volume, like one or two posts a week), I'm on Dogster a bit (I read it but don't post all that often), and also some Yahoo! groups (clickersolutions and coonhound_fanciers primarily).

I spend all day at work on the computer, and my own actual work tends to vary pretty wildly from absolutely nothing to do to swamped, so I stay on a lot of lists to occupy myself in the down times.

I'm on Houndtalk.com and doghobbyist, but Idog is by far the best forum I've found.  There is high volume, good people and good advice here.  Plus the format is easier for me to deal with.   Besides, here on I-dog it seems like a family, not like a bunch of strangers.
