The spelling is the American way, which alot of words are spelt differently to other countries ie: colour in Aus color in America, another example mum and mom.

That's what I was going to say. If a dictionary recognises (recognizes) an alternative spelling, both are right in my books. [:)]

Some of those are different words.  I mean, they are BOTH words and they have different meanings.I missed a few, but several were because I didn't know which word they were looking for.

I'm quite disappointed with how I did, actually. I missed 8/50 in the first one, and 10/50 in the second! A few of the words I had never heard of, though. It says I'm 'better than average' , but I still think I could have done better than that! [:(] I don't get spell check on the forums, but that's ok, because if I type something wrong, I just backspace and fix it, that's what I've always done. So I guess you could say I'm kind of a spelling freak, but I can't leave anything I know is wrong. But now I feel like I'm a terrible speller! Stupid test [>:] lol
