The sad thing is that I recognized one-hit wonder White Lion.

Judas Priest was easy. There's no mistaking the Metal God.

And talking about hair bands. I'll give you the answers to the questions I asked in the "other forums" thread.

David Lee Roth, son of a doctor from Indiana and once worked on his uncle's ranch, convinced Mammoth to change to their family name, Van Halen.

The Pollywogs became better known as Credence Clearwater Revival.

Hey Ron, I LOVED White Lion!!! I still have their CD's [:D]

I like some one-hit bands, too. I still like "Love of a Lifetime" by Firehouse. "Amadeus" by Falco (r.i.p.), from 20 years ago.

    Ron,are you a priest fan?

I am a huge fan of their early albums up to and including 1982's "Screaming For Vengence"

I really liked alot of their early heavy blues work.

Huh? I admit I was kind of confused when I clicked on this, and expected it to be about naming different types of hair ties...like the ones you wear in your hair....[&:] I think I understand now that it's some sort  of music. [8|] I guess that's what I get for reading the replies before I  click on the link!

The sad thing is that I only missed like 3 of them...Hanoi Rocks, Cinderella, and Warrant.

oh oh, want to hear even more pathetic than that...one of my husbands friends was a studio guitarist for them. i love to tease him about it, " i touched a guy who knows a guy who played for white lionnnnnnn, im so not worthy". fortunatly im 9 years younger than him and mostly missed the hair band era [:D]

eta: he's the one playing lead on "when the children cry".
