    CRAIGSLIST

So I#%92m sort of looking for a job, I posted on Craigslist that I#%92m looking for a part time job working with animals.  I described my experience and my training as a vet tech.  Fine, if I don#%92t get an offer it#%92s not the end of the world but I figured it#%92s worth a try.  I get an e-mail just a few hours later saying this:

i wonder if you could help me with my cat. he has an injury and i cant really afford a vet Thanks a ton for your time

AngryErrr... Take the darn cat to a vet!  I'm looking for a job not to be part of a charity.  But because I love all animals and know it's not the cats fault the owner is poor, I had to help in some way.

    so I reply:
Just as a precaution, I'm sorry I am not a vet and can not give expert advice on self treatment for an animal that is in serious need of vet.  Frailer to take your cat to a vet can be considered animal neglect.

There are some organization out there such as the humane society that can help pay for some of the vet bill if you need their assistance.  You may want to call your local humane society as ask if they offer any type of medical assistance for your injured cat.  Here is the link...

I hope I got through to the person.

After looking through more ads on that site I've come to be very dissapointed with many pet owners in this world.  When I was a vet tech I could say at least they are doing something about the problem by having a vet look at it, but when I see people not even take an animal in for whatever reasons I start to whine a bit.
