Why do you bury a St. Joseph figurine upside down in the yard? I have never heard of that before.
It is supposed to bring good luck in selling a house. However, when you move you have to dig it up. It doesn't always work... my parents have been trying to sell their house about a yr. now with one buyer that feel through and no other offers! They are selling at a low price but their taxes are over $9000! That causes people to shy away since some of the neighboring towns have cheaper taxes.
