• Mark Posted : 9/1/2006 6:27:42 PM LOL..your a good sport Glenda...As for snakes,we only have Garter and rat snakes up here where i live.....neither one is particularly life threatening unless your a bug,or a mouse..lol  we do have an assortment of spiders tho...there are a bit more creepy to me than snakes tho..   I woke up one night and there was a spider about a 1/2 inch long dangleing near my face...my first responce?     sit up..lol...my wife wanted to know why i was yelling and slapping myself in the face at 2  in the morning..   0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • glenmar Posted : 9/1/2006 6:48:18 PM Sadly, my terror is of GRASS snakes!  Those are the darned things that I keep seeing.  I don't know what particular variety they are...black and black with a yellow stripe on their backs.   Spiders I can look at and not get freaked out...altho I'm not sure I would have been terribly calm to find one in my FACE in the middle of the nite!   Gosh, ya'll!  Do I have a rep as an old meanie or something??  Even if spiders DID freak me out...that's a pretty cool looking one. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. I woke up and had something on my leg the other night and totally freaked, killed it quietly as I didn't want to wake the rest of the pack put it on the windowsill , (couldn't fall back to sleep got up at 2:30 am) so that I could see what this horrible monster was in the light of day, it was a baby cricket. I have one who lives in my thorn bush who is pretty cool looking. It has this red hourglass looking thing on it and everything...
