He acts tough but I know he's hurting in his heart. He sleeps down here in the rec room and he must feel really uncomfortable. He's doing alot of pacing and has all the lights on down here. I wish I could hide my fear but I can't. Poor kids.[][][]   Now he's nailing the door down here to the garage shut. I'm just going to let him do it as long as he feels safer. When all that stuff was going on with my neighbors I was going out of my mind afraid. I could not sleep for the life of me. I also locked the house up as much as I could and I slept with the phone under my pillow. It's not fun being afraid in your own home, so I truly do feel ya.  I hope you get some peace with all of this. We have so many black thugs here walking around and even before this they gave me the creeps. They all wear different colored bandanas which makes me think they are from different gangs. They have this certain look about them that makes you know they are up to no good. I get scared when a jogger runs past me and I didn't hear them coming. Now I think I'll cross the street when one of those thugs are walking my way. I just feel that the thugs here are looking for something to make happen. They just have this "you owe me attitude". The police said that these sort of gangs are responsible for alot of the robberies going on here. We have a high unemployment rate here amongst the blacks and it is not necessary as there are many jobs all over the city. They don't want to work, they just want to make easy money. He had witnessed alot of abuse at the hands of my ex, himself getting the brunt end of the stick many times and this is a really big issue to him. We talked last nite and I told him that stuff happens and this is a learning experience for us.
